Local tool data

Tasks, notes, preferences and time-tool state are saved in this browser’s local storage. They are not synced to a Toolcat server. Images and text are processed in the browser; Toolcat does not upload the original files. The camera starts only with your permission, without a microphone, recording or video upload.

Site delivery and analytics

Cloudflare provides hosting and security and may process connection data such as IP addresses. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits, page views, referrers, device/browser categories, country-level traffic and loading performance. The analytics uses no analytics cookies or session recordings. Tool inputs and files are not sent as analytics events. EU visitors are currently excluded from analytics.

Google AdSense advertising

Toolcat displays Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies, IP addresses, device identifiers and browsing information to deliver, personalize and measure ads, according to your consent and applicable settings. Toolcat does not send the contents of your notes, files or camera as ad targeting data.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland receive Google’s consent message. Eligible visitors can revisit their choice using “Ad privacy settings” in the footer. If ads or the consent interface are blocked, the tools remain usable.

Deleting your local records

You can delete local records through your browser’s site-data settings. Export notes and tasks first if you need them. Toolcat has no server copy to restore. Browser cookie controls and Google’s privacy controls apply separately to advertising data.
